जाने क्यों

तेरे अलफ़ाज़ से, तेरे एहसास से,
जाने क्यों थोडा डर सा लगता है,

तुम्हे पाने का ख़ुशी से ज़्यादा
तुम्हे खो देने का खौफ सा लगता है.

तेरे आने में, तेरे जाने में
बदलते जज्बात का फर्क सा लगता है,

जाने क्यों अक्सर यह डर सा लगता है?

मुस्कुराते हुए तुम कहते हो अक्सर बहुत कुछ
घंटो लगातार उसे सुनना अच्छा लगता है,

उन लम्हों के गुजरने के बाद
हर शख्स खामोश सा लगता है.

तुमने छुआ था जिन उँगलियों को,
उसपर अब भी वो स्पर्श चुभता है

मैं पा भी लू तुम्हे तो भी
जाने क्यों बिछड़ने का दर सा लगता है !!

Wow I simply loved writing these lines. It's about feelings, and fear. When you struggle for long time and see scene of success, you suddenly fear losing it yet again. After long period of sadness, happiness denies to come easily, and you fear from inside that there's no use of being happy as this may be temporary.

It happens with me mostly, kind of disbelief you can say, After taking so much of efforts, when the Success is in scene, all kinds of fear and superstitions takes place and the enjoyment and enthusiasm lessen a lot.

Morphing similar feelings in love, I created this poem, and the lines simply speak of disbelief on the success of love, that wait and longingness seems like ages and true forever, and that scene of love and happiness seems shortlived only to be followed by parting & memories !!
